Reading in my life

In memory, from a very young age I have been very interested in reading, I think that since I have acquired the ability to decode these hieroglyphs called "alphabet", I have not stopped interpreting them in many different ways.
As far as I remember, for me libraries have been a paradise of entertainment and learning, since I consider myself a person eager for knowledge. Every time I finish a book and learn something new, I marvel at life and feel very fortunate.
I will mention some books that have marked or influenced me in forming the person I am now.

The little Prince
It's a book that I've reread a lot of times, and every time I re-read, I leave a new message.

A horse called freedom
It is a children's book about a girl who must dress as a man to be able to subsist in a macho era, where they suffered disadvantages to being a woman. Her name was Charlotte Parkhurst.

Nothing

A book that made me a break in my vision of life, delves into nihilistic themes, the lack of meaning.

A photograph

I took this photograph in 2015 at Canelillo beach, near El Quisco. This beach is very beautiful, because it has a mixture of beach with forest, more than anything of Eucalyptus, that is in the hill next to this one.
I remember that time I went down the hill in a canopy they were renting, it was very amusing and adrenalinic, it also allowed me to observe more fully the entire beach, flying over the sea.
I usually never photograph myself, because I do not consider myself very photogenic. However, this time I dedicated myself to taking many pictures with my sister Karina.
At this moment I realized that my great interest was by nature, and it is clear in this photo that I feel very comfortable in it.
This was my last summer before entering the University, and after that time I went back to visit the place this summer that happened with my friends of the University.

Trees at risk in Chile

There are many species both herbaceous and woody (trees) that are in a serious danger of extinction, mainly due to human causes. Within these trees, both their felling and their sale are currently prohibited:
Larch (Fitzroya cupressoides): also known as Lahuén, this tree is of the family Cupressaceae. It grows from the province of Valdivia (Region of the Rivers) to the province of Chiloé (Region of the Lakes) in both the Cordillera de la Costa and the Andes. Due to the high value of its wood (construction of houses), in 1976 it was declared a Natural Monument, and its exploitation was forbidden.
Chilean palm (Jubaea chilensis): is an endemic palm of the family Arecaceae that presents a discontinuous distribution from the south of the river Limarí (region of Coquimbo) until the surroundings of Curicó (Maule Region). It has had a strong decrease in its population, the surviving trees present in 11 subpopulations, of which the biggest ones are in the National Park La Campana (Region of Valparaíso).

Cordillera cypress (Austrocedrus chilensis): it is a conifer of subantarctic origin of the Cupressaceae family that grows in both mountain ranges (of the Coast and of the Andes) between the Region of Valparaíso and the one of the Lakes. In recent years, its decline has been increasing as a result of logging, fires and grazing.
To conclude, I want to say that it is very important to be aware of the damage that we have generated over the years, in order to make a change in what we are doing now.

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY.

My favourite piece of technology is my personal computer. I use it all the time, either to do work, study or hang out.
My personal computer gave me my parents more than four years ago, they bought
it used, that is why it has lasted a lot since it is an older technology, but now new
technologies make them little durable.

What I like about computers is that they serve a wide variety of needs, from playing to reading files, and it is very easy to use, since it has a keyboard and a touch mouse, and if this is complicated, you can connect a Mouse, in addition the screen is much bigger than the common tablets or cell phones, facilitating my vision, since I have to use it constantly due to the university.
